    • A Nigerian woman has sparked online discussion by challenging men on the ‘Talk Channel’.
    • She called on men to combine online displays of wealth with real-life behavior.
    • User @asakyGRN shared the news in a viral video on X (formerly Twitter).

A Nigerian woman has sparked widespread discussion online after she challenged men on “Talk Channel” to back up the wealth they flaunt online with real-life actions.

In a video shared by @asakyGRN that went viral on X (formerly Twitter), she urged men to make sure their lifestyle posts match their behavior when meeting someone.

    She said:

“If we’re in the conversation stage and you’re constantly showing off Teslas, Lamborghinis, G-Wagons, and Richard Mills, remember you’ve set the standard. When the actual date comes, show up in the way you post. I’m just paying attention to the energy you display online.”

The woman stressed that many men tend to show off luxury and success on social media but often fail to bring the same energy into an actual date or relationship.

Her message resonates with Nigerians who are tired of the disconnect between online personas and reality.

One user commented, “Finally someone said it Online flexibility, offline delivery. ” Another added: “Indeed. Many people create expectations online that they cannot meet in real life. “

Her viral video is a reminder that in the age of social media-driven dating, real-life behavior should be consistent with the image people portray online. In relationships, offline credibility is just as important as credibility on Instagram.

    See the post below:

“If we’re in the discussion phase and you’re busy posting about Teslas, Lamborghinis, G-Wagons, and Richard Mills, know that you’ve set the standard. When the real date comes, pull it off the way you posted it. I’m just paying attention to the energy you’re showing online.”
