- Clashes between activists Very Darkman and Harrison Gwamnishu have escalated after a third party publicly claimed that an Edo State kidnapping was at the heart of Gwamnishu’s recent arrest.
- The unnamed man claimed that Very Darkman and an accomplice allegedly arranged the kidnapping to frame Gwamnishu, and considered the lack of ongoing discussion of the kidnapped husband to be suspicious.
- His accusations suggest that the incident and subsequent ransom-related controversy may have been orchestrated to damage Gwamnishu’s reputation.

The public feud between activists VeryDarkman and Harrison Gwamnishu has taken on a new dimension as a third party has publicly claimed that the entire Edo State kidnapping case that led to Gwamnishu’s arrest was orchestrated by VeryDarkman and an associate.
The unidentified man made explosive remarks online, claiming that the kidnapping of the Edo couple was a fabricated scenario with the sole purpose of discrediting and framing Harrison Gwamnishu.
The man said:
“You look at that kidn@pp£d couple in Edo State, I can bet you that it was VeryDarkman and his friends in Edo State teamed up to arrange the whole thing just to frame Harrison Gwamnishu. The whole truth will come out soon and if you notice, no one is talking about his husband anymore.”
This serious allegation suggests that the initial kidnapping was either faked or staged, and that the subsequent publicity and arrest of Gwamnishu on suspicion of transferring ransom were pre-planned consequences. The man said the lack of ongoing discussion about his kidnapped husband was dubious evidence to support his claim.
