Christmas is just around the corner and Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi and her family, like many others around the world, are eagerly looking forward to celebrating the festival.

On Sunday, December 7, Alichi shared a funny video of herself, her husband Chike Ugochukwu Mbah and their son Kenechukwu decorating a Christmas tree in preparation for the festive season.

This year holds special significance for the couple as it is their first Christmas as parents.

In a video posted on her social media, she wrote:

“Decorating our Christmas tree…my favorite season.”

Back in April 2024, Chizzy Alichi and her husband welcomed their first child, a baby boy. She shared the happy news through hospital photos, revealing that their son Kenechukwu was born prematurely at 30 weeks and spent 25 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Looking back on the challenging period, which the actress described as “the most difficult period of my life,” it was filled with medical complications, hospital visits, fervent prayers and acts of charity and giving.
