    K!dnapp3d School staff asks for help in distress video, kidnappers demand ₦100m

    • A staff member of Vine Crest College, Magaji Adebanjo, has appeared in a harrowing video released by the kidnappers’ den after he was abducted on Kaba road in Kogi State.
    • In the video circulated by SaharaReporters, Adebanjo holds a gun to his head and desperately pleads for help. He identified himself and revealed that his kidnappers were demanding £100 million for his release.
    • He tearfully called on Nigerians to intervene, citing his pregnant wife, four-year-old son and elderly father as saying he feared he might be killed.

    A secondary school staff member, Magaji Adebanjo, has appealed to Nigerians to seek help after he released a distress video from the kidnapper’s den after he was abducted on the Kaba road in Kogi State.

    In the video released by SaharaReporters, Adebanjo looked visibly frightened, pointing a gun at his head and pleading for his life.

    He identified himself and stated his case:

    “My name is Mogaiji Adebanjo. I am from Imo Arikoko, Ondo State. I work at Vine Crest Academy. I was kidnapped on Kaba Road while I was traveling from Iperu to Abuja.”

    Adebanjo revealed that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of £100 million for his release. He made a tearful plea for intervention, citing his family’s vulnerability:

    “Please help me! I don’t want to die. I have a pregnant wife, a four-year-old son and an elderly father. I don’t want to die. Please help me.”
