    • Don Jazzy, head of Mavin Records, discussed Christmas wishes with a fan on social media.
    • One follower @itohan_olat expressed hope that Don Jazzy would ask her what she wants for Christmas and promised not to ask for too much.
    • The interaction attracted widespread attention on X and highlighted Don Jazzy’s approachable personality and willingness to connect with fans.

Mavin Records boss Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, recently responded to a fan who made what he described as an “eternal request” after taking to social media to make his Christmas wish come true.

The exchange went viral on X when a fan posted a simple Christmas wish to Don Jazzy. User @itohan_olat wrote that she wishes Don Jazzy would ask her what she wants for Christmas and assure him she won’t ask for too much.

Her message caught the attention of the music executive, who responded enthusiastically, acknowledging her continued interaction with his posts. He wrote:

“Haha what do you want? Just because I like your bio and I see you engaging in my tweets every time. Thanks I appreciate it.”

Given the opportunity, this fan made two requests. She first said she hoped to pay off some debt by the end of the year. She then shared her larger goal: to start a foundation inspired by her brother’s death from the disease to pay for weekly dialysis for patients with kidney failure.

    She wrote:

“I owe some money and I want to pay it off before the end of the year. But most importantly, I also want to start my ‘philanthropic foundation’… My brother died of kidney disease from this.”

Don Jazzy responded with humor, noting that her request was more than he expected. He said:

“Ah sister, your request is to put eternal expenses in another man’s pocket. Think you have mercy on the boy.”

The exchange amused many on X, sparking debate over whether the request was too much of a Christmas gesture. This also inspired other followers to come up with interesting requests of their own.

A fan asked Don Jazzy to sponsor her trip to Morocco to watch the African Cup of Nations. He humorously declined, saying: “I’ll watch TV myself. Ko baje.” Another fan asked what lessons the year had taught him, and Don Jazzy answered candidly:

    “Unfortunately I can’t please everyone.”

Don Jazzy is known for his generous interactions with fans online, often surprising them with cash gifts and interacting freely on social media.

@farscalgraphy: “That foundation sabotaged this request.”

@dayrhonke_ashakhe: “Half itou, half itou, half itou…how many times have I called you? You get a chance, look how you messed up!”

@floradivaaa: “This girl is literally irrational.”

@_lettieofficial: “The opportunity presented itself and sister got greedy.”

@tifeh_obirin: “She is not a beggar, but she wants too much. Dear Santa, I don’t want much, all I want are church shoes. My shoes are very old.”

    @olufunmiii: “She messed up!”

@thesandypreneur: “So you can’t ask for one thing? What kind of greed is this?”
