    • Soon after defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party, Governor Siminalayi Fubara declared himself the new leader of the APC in Rivers State.
    • Speaking on his status in the party, he said he was the “number one in Rivers State”, noting that the number on his APC registration card was “0001”.

Days after formally quitting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has made a bold statement declaring himself the new leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Speaking about his new political status, the governor highlighted his seniority in the party’s state chapter:

“I am not just a member of APC. I am the number one person in Rivers State.”

He also backed up his claim by revealing his membership registration details:

“I have received the registration card and it says ‘0001’”

The statement by Governor Tomihara comes amid ongoing political unrest in Rivers State, where he defected to the ruling APC earlier this week.

In other news… The woman named Esther, who recently went viral for trying to dance intimately with a friend’s husband at a wedding reception, has publicly apologized for the misunderstanding.

The incident attracted widespread attention after a video showed the bride quickly stepping in and pushing Esther away from her groom.

In a statement shared on social media, Esther insisted she had no romantic intentions for her groom and explained her actions:

“Her husband was a very loving man to me. He was so kind and I just wanted to dance with him. I had no idea what I was doing could be so wrong,” she said.

The viral incident sparked widespread social media debate, ranging from humor to criticism of public behavior and dynamics between friends and married couples.

Reactions online were mixed, with many questioning her explanation:

@D3 criticized the intimacy of the dance: “‘All you want to do is dance’ and you give your friend’s husband yansh. This sex never seems to surprise me. I bet she and her husband must have done it before this happened publicly. Jealousy and Pepe’s body would have worried her.”

@WHOSGRAENIII focuses on her words: “Did anyone hear her say ‘he was a very loving man to me’, abii nah my ears”
