Eseoghene Obire, popularly known as Xxsive, the ex-boyfriend of actress Nkechi Blessing, has set the internet ablaze after describing Davido as the biggest artist in Africa despite being a fan of Wizkid himself.
The Nigerian musician made the statement in an Instagram video posted on December 17, 2025, following Davido’s appearance on Carter Efe’s Twitch live stream.
During the live broadcast, Davido joined Carter Efe live and helped the content creator secure an endorsement deal with Martell via a live call. The event broke records and became the most watched Twitch stream in Africa, with over 80,000 simultaneous viewers.
Xxsive praised Davido’s proactive attitude and willingness to support others in the industry. He said:
“So, as a fan of Wizkid, I will openly say Davido is Africa’s greatest artist, 100%. Not only did he appear on the air; He was making calls, contacting people and making things happen. “
He also compared the two artists’ styles of helping their peers in the entertainment industry, jokingly saying:
