    • Nigerian comedian Bowie Ugboma is targeting a political appointment from President Bola Tinubu.
    • A recent list of presidential nominees includes individuals who have previously criticized the president.

Nigerian comedian, Bowie Ugboma has revealed his plans to secure a political appointment from President Bola Tinubu.

Recently, the list of presidential nominees was announced, including many who had previously criticized the president.

Speaking on the show No Sting Attached in Abuja, Bovi outlined a strategy that he said has helped people secure appointments from the President. He noted that public figures such as Nyesom Wike, Reno Omokri, Femi Fani-Kayode and others have successfully adopted this approach.

In the recording, Bowie, who is at odds with comedian Bustmouth, noted that those who publicly praised President Tinubu, such as Seyi Law, received nothing in return.

Bovey, with his trademark humor, revealed that his plan was to start criticizing the president even as he agreed with the good things being done and add his own unique comments.

He also said his ambitions went beyond ministerial or ambassadorial positions, suggesting he was targeting higher positions and intended to seize every opportunity to get the president’s attention.

Fans had mixed reactions. Some agreed with Bovey, noting that others, including Reno Omokri, did benefit from the strategy, while others warned that the strategy might not necessarily guarantee his success.

“Criticism will come with the ambassador or the minister, I want something higher…I want something more than what they are giving them all…fuck the president, screw Shettima, screw Akpabio”
