    • Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church (Victors Church), supports US military action against terrorist camps in Nigeria.
    • On Christmas night, the US military launched 12 Tomahawk missiles, targeting terrorist strongholds in Sokoto State.
    • The operation was coordinated with the Nigerian government under President Donald Trump.

Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, popularly known as Victory Church, has welcomed US military action against terrorist camps in Nigeria.

According to reports, the US military launched at least 12 Tomahawk missiles on Christmas Eve, targeting terrorist strongholds in Sokoto state. The operation, coordinated with Nigeria’s government under President Donald Trump, raised hopes of significantly reducing the country’s long-standing security challenges.

Responding to Sunday’s airstrikes, Oyedepo expressed gratitude to God and noted that supporters of terrorism in Nigeria were now in hiding. He added that for the first time in nearly two decades, perpetrators of violence were under pressure.

He said, “We must thank God for the sudden improvement in the situation in Nigeria. For nearly 20 years, the persecutors have had their way, but now they are feeling the pressure.

“Midnight prayers led by the Holy Spirit brought this outcome. Those who bring sorrow to others will now face the consequences.

“The judgment has begun. God has intervened in the affairs of Nigeria. All those who supported these criminals are now in hiding and their camps are burning. For the first time, the oppressors have become the oppressed.”
