Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala has sounded the alarm over threats to her life and that of Ebele, reportedly the baby mama of Pastor Chris Okafor. O’Gara claims the pastor tried to intimidate them on multiple occasions.
In an emotional video, the actress said she was instructed by someone she believed to be an aide to Pastor Okafor to send Eberle away so the pastor could “deal with her.” O’Gara also revealed that the threats made it unsafe for the woman to leave her home.
She said when she confronted the pastor about the pregnancy, he denied any responsibility. O’Gara added that Okafor allegedly asked her if she knew the kidnapper, which made her fear for Ebere’s safety. She also claimed that the cleric was involved in numerous fraudulent activities of which Ebell was aware.
The video showed both women in tears as O’Gara appealed to Nigerians for help, explaining that she had received multiple threatening messages. She said the woman only had £5,000 when she met Ebere and she sent her £100,000 to help her.
O’Gara further revealed that the police had contacted her more than once. She said that in addition to the initial invitation, she was contacted by another police station in Maitama to inform her that defamation proceedings had been filed against her in the District Court and that she needed to report it.
The controversy began after reports of Pastor Chris Okafor’s engagement photos being shared online. Since then, O’Gara has continued to publicly accuse the pastor and share details of what she claims happened to his alleged baby mama.
