    • Cross Okonkwo, who lost his job because of his outspoken Christian beliefs.
    • He said one potential collaborator chose not to work with him because he openly discussed Jesus Christ on social media.
    • Specific details about the position or company have not been disclosed.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Cross Okonkwo has revealed he lost a job opportunity for being outspoken about his Christian faith.

The 34-year-old reality star said someone decided not to work with him because he spoke publicly about Jesus Christ on social media. He gave no details about the job or the companies involved, but made clear he would not hide his beliefs for any reason.

Cross explained that many people still think he is the same guy from Big Brother Naija, but he believes his spirit and personality have changed since leaving the show. He said he would never do anything wrong or chase money in a way that went against his faith, even if it meant having less.

He also said that fame does not control him and that real wealth comes from God. Cross added that he doesn’t want to be compared to his other former roommates, saying everyone has their own path and he wishes them all the best.

    He wrote on X:

“You’re crazy and don’t want to work with me because I’ve been very clear and bold about my faith in Jesus Christ. Haha. 😂 One day I will buy your company and everything you own. Mark my words. I think a lot of people still think of me as the guy in my brother’s family ??. Probably the same body, the same face. The image but the spirit and soul are definitely different. So please put it out of your mind and accept it in peace🥂❤️ I would never do anything bad for money. Even if I become the poorest or most broke person on earth. I don’t care about reputation. Yes, I’m happy and lucky that I’m a celebrity, but that doesn’t change anything. All wealth belongs to my father. He alone holds the secret of all things. Please never compare me to any of my older siblings. We all have different perspectives on life. I love every one of them. I wish you all the best ❤️“one

Cross rose to fame on the seventh season of BBNaija and has since been sharing posts about his Christian journey with his followers.
