    Applications for the Human Rights Multicultural and Immigration Internship Center are currently open. In this article, we explain in detail this internship, its benefits, and the step-by-step application process.

    The Center for Human Rights, Multiculturalism and Migration (CHRM2) internship is a paid opportunity for international students at the University of Jember, Indonesia. The minimum internship period is 1 month and the maximum is 12 months. CHRM2 internships will reward work experience, free accommodation, monthly living stipend and cultural experience.

    Human Rights Multicultural and Immigration Internship Welfare Center

    CHRM2 Indonesia volunteer or internship opportunities include:

    • City bike for local transportation.
    • Cultural experience (weekend tour to East Java, Indonesia).

    The following are not included:

    • International flights.
    • Visa fees.

    Eligibility Criteria for the Human Rights Multicultural and Immigration Internship Center

    Applicants must meet the following CHRM2 Indonesia volunteer or internship opportunity criteria:

    • Required language: You must be a native English speaker. Fluent in English (proof of English writing proficiency should be provided. TOEFL/IELTS scores are not required but may be used as a means of proof). Bahasa Indonesia is not required but will be a plus (opportunity to study language courses at Jember University).
    • Eligible countries: All countries in the world
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent).
    • Academic or work experience demonstrating interest in human rights, multiculturalism and/or immigration.
    • Commitment and leadership.
    • Initiative and flexibility.

    How to apply for a CHRM2 internship?

    1. Prepare required documents:
      • Resume or Resume
      • A short personal statement (written in English, maximum 500 words) that reflects your desire to volunteer at CHRM2 and your interest in the position
      • Proof of English language proficiency for non-native speakers (official test scores or brief writing sample).
      • Additional materials may be submitted but are not required.
