Scholarship Scope
The BI Presidential Scholarship provides recipients with the following benefits:
- Provided you meet academic progress requirements, the scholarship will cover full tuition fees and a living allowance each term for up to two years.
BI Presidential Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the BI Presidential Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Required language: English
- Eligible countries: All countries in the world
- Candidates with an ECTS grade point average (GPA) of A or equivalent top grades at the international level apply for and are admitted to the MSc programme.
- Students currently enrolled in the BI Siviløkonom program are eligible to apply in their third year.
- The BI Presidential Scholarship is open to applicants to all MSc programs.
- NOTE: Only candidates admitted to the MSc program starting in fall 2022 will be considered for this scholarship.
How to apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship?
Please follow the steps below to earn the BI Presidential Scholarship:

- Each program has specific requirements. view them here.
- All international applicants must submit a personal financial plan. A financial plan is a general overview of how you plan to fund your degree and living expenses. Please click on the link to download the financial plan template.
- International candidates who are eligible for regular student loans through the Norwegian National Education Loan Fund can only apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship. You are not eligible for living expenses allowance.
- You may apply for more than one scholarship, however, the BI Presidential Scholarship will only award one scholarship per student.
- Candidates who have already obtained a master’s degree are not given priority for scholarships.
- To apply for an English test exemption, please download and complete Language Exemption Application Form and upload it to your application.
