Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly addressed her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following the alleged arrest of her close friend Ann.
In a series of emotional Instagram posts shared on Tuesday, Regina expressed concerns about what she said was the illegal handling of the matter, questioning the role of law enforcement and the sudden shift in allegations surrounding the case.
According to the actress, her friend was arrested under circumstances that she believed lacked legal credibility. Regina said an initial domestic violence case was allegedly overshadowed by new charges involving drug use and trafficking, raising concerns about due process and safety.
She also brought up past accusations made by her ex-husband against Ann, saying her friend had previously been labeled a “drug supplier”. Regina hinted that the accusations resurfaced after she took steps to defend her friend but refrained from engaging in a public fight.
Regina expressed frustration, questioning why her life seemed to be repeatedly mired in controversy even though her estranged husband was having “the best time of his life.” She further accused him of thriving on chaos and public drama.
In another post, the actress said she could reveal extensive details about the situation but deliberately chose to refrain, noting that continued public communication might only serve to entertain or empower him.
Regina concluded her statement by addressing Ned Nwoko directly, questioning his motives and asking him what he hopes to gain from the current situation.
