    • AFOLABI Peters Murphy has commented on the death of gospel singer Bunmi Annaanu, also known as Omije Ojumi.
    • After her death, ancient prophecies related to her death began circulating online.
    • The predictions sparked mixed reactions among fans and social media users.

RADIO AFOLABI Peters Murphy, host of the radio show Obiri Laye, has expressed his views on the death of gospel singer Bunmi ANOANU, popularly known as OMIJE OJUMI.

Following her death, ancient prophecies said to have been made before her death began circulating online, prompting mixed reactions from fans and social media users.

In a widely circulated video, Afolabi addressed the issue of prophetic warnings and how people typically respond to them. He said Omije Ojumi was not the only public figure who allegedly suffered consequences for ignoring such information.

The radio presenter also mentioned the late Samuel Oshoffa, founder of the Church of Christ in Heaven, claiming he ignored travel warnings and later died from injuries sustained in a car accident. In addition, Afolabi also mentioned gospel singer Aduke Gold, who reportedly passed away due to illness in 2024, and another gospel artiste, Egbin Orun, who passed away in 2025.

According to him, all of the individuals he cited were said to have received prophetic warnings, but they failed to act.

Speaking on the importance of responding wisely to such warnings, Afolabi suggested that it is better to take them seriously rather than ignore or fight against them, especially when they become public. He urged people to pray, reflect and seek help when faced with negative prophecies, even if they are unsure of the source.

The video was shared on Instagram, prompting reactions from fans and followers. Many commenters prayed for the deceased and shared personal experiences, while others emphasized the need to take spiritual matters seriously.

@olawunmi_28: “Since the man had the vision, they wouldn’t have killed her spiritually that time. If she had knelt down and prayed without cursing the man, she might have survived.”

@ablegod_0204: “If you are born and raised in Africa, we need to believe that life is more spiritual than material. But it depends on the environment you grow up in.”

@bethtreats_ngbackup: “The arrows of the dark world will not hit me, my husband and my children in the name of Jesus.”

@fojoscreation_71: “You are absolutely right sir, may God bless us all.”
