    • Folake Flakkyfaj reacted to comedian Damilola Adekoya’s video.
    • In the video, Prince expressed her desire to get married and addressed pastors including Jerry Eze and Bolaji Idowu.
    • She expressed her frustration with being single and referenced past comments she’d made on the pastor’s posts, which often elicited laughter.

Actress and real estate entrepreneur Folake Flakkyfaj has responded to a video posted by comedian Damilola Adekoya aka “Princess” in which she spoke about her desire to get married.

In the video, Prince called out pastors, including Pastor Jerry Eze and Pastor Bolaji Idowu, expressing frustration over her single status. She revealed that she had previously commented on her situation in clergy posts, but people often laughed at her. This time, she took a bolder approach, asking them to share the contact information of eligible men in their congregation.

Reacting on her Facebook page, Flakkyfaj made fun of the princess and suggested that she look for a husband in an Arab country, claiming that Nigerian men are intimidated by her.

To clarify her point, Fleck cited the case of Baba Ijesha and shared a Yoruba proverb. This quote suggests that a person who has achieved something extraordinary may initially be praised, but that admiration can quickly turn to fear. She likened it to a man killing an elephant with just a hat. He might be briefly celebrated, but people soon realize that if he can do that, he might also do harm to humans, making them fear him instead of admiring him.

The post elicited mixed reactions from fans of Princess and Flakkyfaj. Some reminded others that Baba Ijesha was legally found guilty and stressed that Prince did not invent the case and that evidence in court confirmed his guilt. Others sided with Flakkyfaj, saying Princess’ behavior was inappropriate.

@wuraola_arik: “You are definitely talking about irresponsible men. Not men who really know that girls should be protected. Her man is already in her DMs.”

@bambulucutie: “Let her put herself out there first, this princess is so retarded. Who talks when God doesn’t speak?”

@adelekeadesewaadejoke1: “Well Afi Fila perin ojokan lo niyin mo, so deep but does that have anything to do with her case? We know her why do you think she can’t find a husband, are you God?

@olawunmi_28: “This proverb has profound meaning. Omo, this sentence is strong. This life makes us match the ground gently.”
