- Mercy Eke says years after winning Big Brother Naija, she remains relevant by working hard, focusing on her goals and never turning down an opportunity.

Popular Nigerian reality star Mercy Eke has shared her strategies for maintaining public attention years after winning Big Brother Naija Season 4 in 2019.
Unlike some reality stars who fade away from the spotlight after becoming famous, Ek attributes her continued influence to hard work, discipline and clear goals.
The reality star said in a recent interview with Odira Ndubuaku:
“I’m still relevant because I put in the work and I never turned down any money. And, I mind my stuff. I work hard. I wake up with a purpose. Some people wake up and they have nothing to do. But I always know exactly what to do every day.”

In a strongly worded statement, Blord revealed that he has instructed the Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) to issue a cease and desist letter to VDM requiring him to immediately cease use of the name “RATEL”, which Blord claims is now legally associated with his brand.
“I have instructed my SAN to send a cease and desist letter to VDM instructing him to stop using my brand name RATEL. From now on, he must obtain my approval before using the name RATEL,” Borod said.
Blord said that the “RATEL” name has become part of its brand identity and business interests, and VDM’s continued use of the name without authorization constitutes brand infringement. He insisted that any future use of the name must have his explicit consent.
As of the time of filing this report, VeryDarkMan has not publicly responded to Blord’s claims or reported legal action. The situation is expected to spark further debate, especially among supporters of VDM, who see “RATEL” as a platform related to activism and public accountability.
