Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala has issued a public apology over comedian Jephthah Bowoto popularly known as Akpororo’s previous remarks and accusations against him.

The apology was shared via her Instagram account on Thursday, January 22, 2026. In her post, O’Gara acknowledged that her comments were made in the heat of the moment and may have given people the wrong impression.

She explained that she wanted Akpororo to understand her perspective before reacting. O’Gara also admitted that her previous comments had caused misunderstandings and clarified that they were not made with a calm mind.

The actress expressed her sincere apology and asked the comedian to forgive her, stressing that her words were spoken out of anger and urging him to let go of any hurt he had caused.

“Akpoloro, I sincerely apologize for what I said. I thought you would reach out to understand my side of the story. Regardless, what I said was misunderstood. I apologize. It was said in anger.”

“I publicly apologize to Akpolo. Everything I said was said in anger. If any misunderstanding has been caused, please forgive me in your heart.”

@tikbus: “Does this mean he hasn’t held two more women?”

@succi_room: “Is it becoming obvious now that some people were attacking me when I said most of what this woman said sounded like lies 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️”

@kellisa_ikewete_: “This is why people should always be allowed to defend themselves. If akpororo is afraid to let her come up with evidence, will this happen?”

@i_am_victouryst: “Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is out of control, are some of the things she said wrong because they were said in anger?”

@v4vandetta_3010: “Akpororo go don’t tell her, she has to bring evidence or we will go to court. She thinks Akpororo is the pastor. That rude Chris Okafor is the pastor. She is scared of the police case. That’s why she apologized. He told her he was ready.”

@roselinetasha: “Na wah ooo😮how many other things she said are false or untrue? I hope she gets help at this stage and stops all this cho cho cho😢”
