Nigerian TikTok founder Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, recently defended her ex-boyfriend and streamer Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, also known as Pele, after his educational background was questioned.
The comments came just days after their highly publicized breakup, during which Jarvis addressed misunderstandings about Peller’s academics. She clarified that although he did not receive higher education, it did not mean that he was uneducated.
Jarvis explained that Peller had successfully completed secondary education and held a WAEC certificate, emphasizing that he had received formal education. She highlighted the difference between someone who is completely uneducated and someone who has not attended college or other higher education institution at all.
She added that Pele’s inability to continue his studies was due to financial constraints, a challenge faced by many young Nigerians. Jarvis also shared that her own academic journey was aided by the support she received after becoming famous during her junior year of college, noting that not everyone has the opportunity to do so.
Peller has gained recognition in the streaming community, and Jarvis’ defense aims to correct misunderstandings that could damage his reputation.
The two were once a famous duo in online entertainment, often appearing on live broadcasts together before their relationship ended in December 2025. Despite the breakup, Jarvis chose to clarify that Peller’s lack of a college education should not be mistaken for illiteracy.

@Newmoney4ever: “Many of the biggest celebrities around the world did not pursue higher studies in higher education institutions but in many cases know how to speak well, dress well and use their wits. Pelle is Olodo inside and out.”
@Michael_Adeiza_: “There is a lack of self development when talking about waec! That n!gga is not only academically dull but academically boring as well. We have people who have only been to primary school but are well behaved, knowledgeable and confident. This Pele guy is like an ozuor.”
@changer_boss: “This is not a matter of going to school…I can tell you very clearly that he may still go to college and his mentality is still slow. Most of our graduates go to college just to go to school and forget about self-development.”
@TeddyReign: “Peller needs to go to school. The college he can’t go to gives him severe low self-esteem. That’s why he does it.”
@pemi_ni_temmy: “If you go to school and your English still sounds terrible, there is no sign of decency, no sign of intelligence, and should not be dropped out. This guy has no books in his head, he is focused on what he is good at.”
@Dannymasterp: “This has nothing to do with school. Peller is academically and mentally retarded. This is due to the poor education he received in school and his poor personal studies. This is the main setback Peller faces as a public figure now, because being influential is mentally demanding.”
