    • Nigerian singer Korede Bello has shared insights about his faith on Instagram.
    • He was born in Islam and practiced Islam for many years.
    • His interest in learning about Jesus Christ was driven by personal conviction.

Nigerian singer Korede Bello recently shared his insights on faith in a post on Instagram.

The former Mavin Records artist revealed that he was born into Islam and practiced Islam for many years before deciding to read the Bible himself. He explained that his interest in learning about Jesus Christ stemmed from personal conviction rather than religious obligation.

Korede Bello further points out that when Christians focus too much on the cross as a symbol of identity, it feels like they are constantly re-crucifixing Christ. He admitted that his video messages were long, but he didn’t care about public opinion. According to him, people will recognize his devotion to Jesus through the love he shows to others.

The singer emphasized the importance of Jesus’ love and the symbolism of the cross, explaining that it represents the end of sin, wrongdoing and one’s former self. He said the believer’s true identity can be found in the risen Christ, who now sits beside God the Father. Kored added that prayer is offered through Christ, who is no longer on earth or on the cross.

Finally, he extended his best wishes to his fans, hoping that they too can experience redemption while continuing to reflect on the love of Jesus Christ and the meaning of the cross.
