    Nollywood actress and movie producer Funke Akindele has paid a heartfelt tribute to her late mother three years after her death.

    On social media, she described herself as a selfless queen who dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren with love, discipline and strong values.

    According to the actress, her late mother made sure they received the best education, taught them to believe in themselves, and instilled principles that still guide her today.

    “My dear mother, today marks three years since you left us. Mom, you were a selfless queen who gave us the best education, taught us to believe in ourselves, and raised strong children. Your legacy will continue in me, my siblings, and your grandchildren.
    Your teachings, knowledge and discipline have shaped me into the person I am today. I celebrate you, Mom. May your kind soul continue to rest in peace. We love you, miss you and will continue to make you proud.”

    In other news… A Nigerian man is shocked after a young woman known as Precious Chinyere allegedly absconded with his car and other personal belongings after visiting a hotel in Abuja.

    The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, February 5, at a hotel in the Asokoro area of ​​the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The man and Preseus reportedly checked into the hotel for a brief stay as part of a romantic getaway.

    Trouble began later in the evening when the man discovered that Precious had left the hotel room without notifying him. She allegedly took some of his personal belongings, including his cellphone, laptop and car.

    The distraught man reportedly lodged a complaint with the police station in Abuja the next morning.

    Spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the development, said the case is currently under investigation. Efforts are on to track down and arrest the suspects, she added.
