The FCT High Court at Life Camp, Abuja has rescheduled the assault and battery trial of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, to April 8, 2026.

Lawyers for both parties, the plaintiff’s lawyer Uchenna Ojembe and the defendant’s lawyer Taiwo Akinsulie, both appeared in court; however, the courtroom was adjourned due to ongoing renovations. The legal team agreed a new date that suited everyone to ensure the trial went ahead smoothly.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the case was filed by Nigerian musician Ogbogiri Okey Levi, known professionally as “Kraziecent”. He filed a lawsuit against Odumodublvck, accusing the rapper of physically assaulting him during a public event in December 2024.

Kraziecent claimed that Odumodublvck allegedly assaulted him without provocation while he was taking photos and videos at the event. The musician said the incident caused him emotional distress and caused damage to his iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In addition to seeking compensation for medical expenses, Kraziecent is also seeking compensation of N2 billion from Odumodublvck. He also asked the court to force the rapper to publicly apologize through all of his social media accounts and two national newspapers, among other demands outlined in the lawsuit.

In other news… A mother took to social media to seek advice after her eight-year-old son came home from school with an unexpected Valentine’s Day gift from a male classmate.

According to her, the boy gave her son a gift that included two rings and a note asking him to keep one and return the other if he accepted the friendship. The note also called her son his “favorite.”

The mother admitted she was confused about how to handle the situation. She said she would easily understand the gesture if it came from a girl, but wasn’t sure what it meant if it came from another boy so young.

She is now asking whether she should speak to the other child’s parents directly or raise the issue with her son’s class teacher first. Her post has since sparked mixed reactions online.
