New US Vice President JD Vance claims Donald Trump accomplished more in just five days than former President Joe Biden did in four years .
Vance made the point when he asked the question during an interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, January 26.
Vance argued that President Trump’s first steps in office would help lower prices for Americans.
“Prices are going to go down, but it’s going to take a little while, right? The president has been president for five days. I think he’s accomplished more in those five days than Joe Biden will accomplish in four years.” More.” Vance said.
Vance said Trump has taken several administrative actions that will lower energy prices.
The vice president said he thinks consumers will see lower prices at the pump and in grocery stores, but it will take some time.
Some Democrats mocked Trump’s grocery store prices after taking office.
Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., posted on X in early January, “I don’t care if Donald Trump wants to buy Greenland. I just want to know what he’s going to do to lower the cost of groceries.”
