Femi Falana, a human rights lawyer of Nigeria, asserted that the bail conditions for the release of the African Action Conference (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore in the 2023 election have been announced from police detention.

Naija News It is reported that after inviting commendations to the Nigerian police on Monday, Sorovol was asked to produce 16 -level civil servants and hand over international passports as a condition for bail.

However, Sol completely rejected the bail condition and chose to stay in the detention.

Subsequently, Sowore revealed in social media posts that Dasuki Galandachi Vice Police Deputy Administrative Director notified him to provide bail provides, waiting for the conclusion of the investigation.

According to Sol, this situation was only cut to the guarantor of the 16 -level civil servants.

However, his lawyer Falana said in a letter to the Nigerian police that the bail condition was announced by the appeal court earlier.

He said, “Thank you for reducing the bail condition of Mr. Omoyele Sowore to the guarantor at the level 16.

“However, I hope to point out that in the case of DASUKI V. Director -General, the Court of Appeal has announced that this bail condition is illegal [2020]10 nWLR PT.1731 PG. 136-143 The position held by ADAH JCA (now JSC) is as follows: “Let me quickly say that as a court, we must be ready and sensitive.

“A country involved in civil servants or public officials participating in federal public services and national bail. These people are not accused of bail of criminal crimes in anywhere in Nigeria or the civilized world.

“This is the supervision we allow. There is no space for our civil and public service rules. It is expected that the 16 -level servant will have a value of N1 million yuan, which will run counter to the public service rules and pass the war against corruption.

“It is in this regard, I will execute ex debito Justitiae to ensure that it will be dismissed by civil servants involved in the status of officials in the federal or any institution or the 16 -level official status of any institution, so I ordered.”
