On January 28, a U.S. Air Force pilot was safely popped up and exploded before his F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft exploded.
The pilot experienced “on -board failure” but was able to pop from the plane. He said the aircraft crashed at the Elson Air Force Base during the landing stage.
He said that the pilot had announced an emergency before the crash and a stable condition, and evaluated in medical institutions.
The Air Force said in a statement that the crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon and caused major damage to the plane.
The Elson Air Force Base is about 25 miles (40 kilometers) and is south of Fernac.
Tombson said in a statement that the Air Force will conduct a “thorough investigation, hoping to minimize the chance of this situation to the greatest extent.”
