Yushau Ahmed, director of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), said that the members of the Legion will start a monthly allowance of 77,000 N77,000 in February 2025.
He explained that the monthly allowance of N77,000 was approved by the federal government and urged members of the legion to return the gesture of the government during their service year.
He emphasized his commitment to the welfare and security of members of the National Legion and ensured that they would not deploy them to the security threat community to provide services.
According to him, “We will not send our legion members to anywhere facing the challenge of security threats. No matter where we send them to, they should not ensure that this place is safe and ensure that they serve.”
