The Nigeria Export Promotion Commission (NEPC) has confirmed that the Nigerian Central Bank (CBN) has approved the income of CFA francs into the Nigeria Export Revenue (NXP) form.
Mrs. Nonye Ayeni, executive director of NEPC, revealed this in ABUJA’s non -oil export performance in Abuja on Friday.
Ayeni said the council was engaged with CBN earlier, including CFA francs.

“I am glad to inform you that CBN has been approved by a large number of CFAs to be captured with the NXP form to repatriate export income. We will cooperate with CBN and banks to ensure that it is fully implemented.” Ayeni said.
She also emphasized that the agency’s efforts to promote exports, including the certification of 400 small and medium -sized enterprises (SME) exporters.
CBN has cleared a $ 7 billion FX backlog
The Nigerian Central Bank (CBN) announced the liquidation of $ 7 billion in foreign exchange backlogs that have not been repaid.
