Senator Jimoh appointed Governor of PDP and they will join the APC.
Nigerian News Nalin According to reports, Senator Gimo Ibrahim in southern Auduo, representing the National Parliament, claimed that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and some other governors of the opposition parties were planning to defeat all progressive Congress (APC).
Ibrahim issued the statement when answering the question on the channel TV.
He said that many people have been in a party and are expected to join in the next few weeks.
When asked about their members’ criticism of the APC policy as a good sign of the party and the Tinubu government, Ibrahim refuted that the focus should be not only in criticism, but also influx of new members from PDP.
“What about those who join our PDP?” Ibrahim asked. “You’re not watching that. You have given up it completely. Aren’t you talking about those who join us from PDP. How about Huaike?”
Ibrahim pointed out that although Victor claims to be a member of PDP, he is still serving in the APC government. He also hinted that several governors were planning to join the APC, but refused to mention their names to avoid embarrassing them.
His words: “How many of them are going to come? How many senators are left and planned to come now? Of course, some governors are planning to join the APC. I don’t want to mention them, so as not to make people feel embarrassed.
“But I can tell you, the next one [to the programme]I will tell you again … When I come back, you will see the governor cross the APC next time. “
Before the 2027 election, several PDP governors were accused of abandoning the party as an APC. These are said to be the first governor of the governor, and they are afraid that the federal government may prevent the second ambition of President Bola Tinubu.
