Murder Inc. co-founder Irv Gotti helped make Ja Rule and Ashanti superstar records after a stroke. He is 54 years old.

Gotti was born in Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr. and is known for co-founding the Def Jam Records brand in 1998. He has won producer honors for hip-hop stars such as Jay-Z, DMX, Kanye West, JA Rule, Fat Joe, Eve, etc.
Gorty’s last-minute situation has not been revealed yet. Sources only told Allhiphop that he was “proclaimed dead” Wednesday morning.
Gotti has a history of health problems including diabetes and his battle with the disease is open in 2023.
Gotti is particularly considered a producer of various hits, including DMX’s first studio album, It thick and Hell is hot” (1998), JA Rules between me and you,’ Ashanti’s “stupid”, Fat Joe’s’, and so on.
