Nigeria News Nalin Nigeria’s reformed Areva Youth Council reportedly raised concerns about alleged plans to undermine President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.

RayCN National President Bilal Abdulahi warned in a statement issued Thursday that the alleged efforts involved covert operations, massive protests and aimed at the Northwest region, including Sokoto and Zam Farah Country) riots.
The group expressed concern about the described perceptions of attempts to discredit the government and create instability. It urges security agencies to investigate the situation and take the necessary measures to protect national security.

Abdullahi warned: “This is the biggest national security issue. It can be better imagined its tendency and destruction. The activities of these groups are under serious threats, the country and its indeed national security. We cannot fold the weapon until we are overwhelmed by its actions or are too excessive.
“It is obvious that their intentions and several meetings are intended to cause unrest and make citizens feel that the government and its various organs are not doing enough to improve the welfare of the people.
“This is nothing more than an attempt to undermine the stability of the democratic system and must resist all necessary state powers.
“Since the election, some groups have made clear efforts to express dissatisfaction with the results and functions of various government organs.
“Unfortunately, this dissatisfaction has prompted some actions to undermine the presidency and pose a challenge to our democracy and the rule of law. These actions must be addressed quickly to prevent further escalation and become deterrents.”
