
Nigerian troops, under ongoing action, show that the Nima operation without mercy, eliminated two notorious bandit leaders, Kachalla Gwammade and Kachalla Shehu, and four soldiers in Ruwan Dawa village in the Maru local government area of Zamfara state .
Intelligence sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama on Friday that the operation was conducted by troops at Hannu Tara camp located along the Magami-Dan Sadau motorway in collaboration with local Vigilantes.
Sources confirmed that the troops had a fierce gunfight with the bandits, neutralizing six armed criminals and recovering three motorcycles and several shots.
Kachalla Gwammade, identified as the key terrorist commander, operates at the base in Chabi village in northeastern Maru LGA.
He is also a relative of the late Kachalla Sani Black, who recently eliminated the infamous warlords in an ongoing military operation.
The successful operation was in the midst of a strong attack on terrorists in northwestern Zamfara State.
Similarly, the forces of the fan action successfully neutralized another infamous bandit leader, Kachalla Na Faranshi (pictured), and several of his fighters in Surmi, Zamfara State. Radical attacks were carried out in forests in local government areas.
Intelligence sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama on Friday that terrorists were eliminated when they were in contact with the troops. Kachalla Na Faranshi is a highly anticipated robber leader originally from the village of Shirgi, Maladi, Niger Republic.
He and his father were bull merchants before committing an armed crime. As time passed, he began to deeply participate in bandits and weapons smuggling.
His stronghold is located in Dutsen Kura Forest, southwest of Mashema, Zumi local government area. He is known for smuggling illegal guns from Mali and Niger, providing weapons to various armed groups operating in the forests of Nigeria’s northwestern.
Na Faranshi has ties to the terrorist group running in Mali, formerly an ally of the notorious robber leader Bello Turji, and then built his own criminal network.
On March 23, 2024, Kachalla Na Faranshi released a video showing exquisite weapons and a large number of fighter planes threatening to attack Zurmi Town in Zamfara State.
His team is responsible for multiple attacks, kidnappings and weapons trafficking in the area.
During the recent operation in Zumi Forest, the security forces had a fierce gunfight with Na Faranshi and his men, successfully eliminating him and many of his fighters.
