Senator Omo-Agage assured party leaders and members that mistakes in the last election would be corrected and promised to repair the fences to build a stronger, more unified front.
Chief (Lady) Ngozi Olejeme of the All Progressive Conference of Delta State (APC) announced that former Senate Vice-Chairman, Senator Ovie Omo-agege, remains the party’s best candidate, making the APC victory in the 2027 Delta State Governor Election.
Dr. Olejeme convened the 2023 elections at a stakeholder meeting convened by Senators Omo-Agege on Tuesday and expressed his gratitude to supporters.
“If we reflect on the last election, our governor candidate and his representatives made some mistakes. As the party leaders, we are ours. Go forward and let us forgive ourselves and unite and progress,” she said.

She directly addressed Omo-agege, she added: “We will win the Delta and if you decide to run again, we will support you because you are the best person to lead the APC to victory. If we have to win the next election, We have to stand together. A house against oneself can’t stand it.”
Senator Omo-agege guaranteed that party leaders and members would correct the mistakes of the last election and promised to repair the fences to build a stronger, more united front by 2027.
“The mistakes we made in the last election will be corrected and we will not allow them to deceive us again. You gave everything you have, made sacrifices, but despite our efforts, we did not succeed.
“I recognize your sacrifice. Some of you have had difficulties, even violence, but you are still firm. Your dedication means everything to me, which is why I came here today to talk directly to the grassroots, making People who all happened,” he said.

Acknowledging the concerns raised by party members, Omo-agege urged a unified and dialogue among all APC members in the Delta, including those with different opinions.
“Even within the family, husbands and wives are divided, siblings quarrel, but in the end, they reconcile. Politics are no different. Challenges arise, but it is important that we acknowledge that we are all members of the same party.”
“I assure you, especially our leaders, that any differences we have addressed will be resolved. We have done it before and we will do it again. Those who follow our politics know that it is true. Last time in 2022 After Congress, we found a way forward and we will do it again,” he said.
