    Your term witnessed great corruption and insecurity, APC Chief replied Buhari

    Josef Onoh, the chief of All Progressive Conference, responded to former President Muhammadu Buhari’s claim that Nigeria has made significant improvements in security and economic aspects during its tenure.

    Onoh disputed this, while claiming that Buhari’s eight-year tenure was characterized by huge corruption and insecurity.

    Onoh said in a statement released on Friday, February 7: “Today, Nigerians accuse Tinubu of management as the worst they have ever encountered without knowing that the president chose to remain silent and carry his cross alone without shouting Scream or call for your name.

    “He continued to continue driving the economic minefield after the Buhari government failed to make him frustrated.

    “Under Buhari’s watch, northeast. Southwest, central southwest, southwest cannot sleep peacefully. When you took office on May 29, 2015, the cumulative number of people in Nigeria was the NST saying. It’s 34,972 .

    “Under your watch as president, 98,083 people were killed in 12 years; 27,311 people were killed in the first term of your term; 35,800 people were killed from 2019 to May 2023.

    “Let me remind General Buhari that Nigeria has never seen the insecurity witnessed by his government, and has not even seen it during the Civil War. Let me refresh your memory with the numbers of Nigerians under your watch: 2015 5556; 2016, 5763L in 2017, 2018, 2019, 8340, 2020, 2021, 2022;

    “You ride on the mantra of change, but ultimately lead to the worst change in Nigeria, after failure, you turn around and blame the PDP, your ongoing self-assessment can cause some questions: Is this position political pretending or originating from real Sensitivity This is your trademark.”

    Ono, under the Buhari government, said Nigeria ranks high in the global terrorism index and low in the global peace index.

    He added: “In 2019, under your watch, Nigeria ranked third among the 138 countries in the Global Terrorism Index, Iraq ranked third, and said to be the 14th most vulnerable country in the world and the number one in Africa 14th place. Undoubtedly, in the same year, our country also ranked 148th in the Global Peace Index, well below Sierra Leone (52), Liberia (59) and Rwanda (79) and other Sierra Leone (52).

    “Under your watch, states like Kaduna continue to carry out attacks and retaliation attacks, today’s ethnic cleansing and mismanaged religious and cultural diversity.

    “The insensitivity and ineffectiveness of security chiefs is part of spreading insecurity, allowing these groups to remain in the same way that you demonstrate that they have the right to address these and other non-state actors and ensure that they are ensured that these groups remain while you show that they have the right to address these and other non-state actors and ensure that they are ensured. Imprisoned actions. Space without authority, cumulative changes in violence.”

    The APC chief also said the former president’s failure to deal with the economy and insecurity has affected the country’s attractiveness to FDI.

    “On economic issues, you fail to deal with insecurity creates an environment in which Boko Haram expands the environment in which it operates”, he added. During your tenure, insecure insecurity continues to negatively impact our country’s business environment and business traffic.

    “Under your watch, one of the largest fish markets in West Africa, located in Ba California, near Lake Chad in northeast Nigeria, has long been abandoned due to the ongoing Boko Haram rebels.

    “Without being unbiased, I insist that in any fair assessment of the Buhari government, whether it is himself or even artificial intelligence, he must consider these facts before he can give the government he passed by or he himself false. Obviously, the provided has a verifiable impact on the direction of investment decisions, both foreign and local.

    “Ultimately, it has influenced both the perception of Nigeria around the world and the reality of our citizens’ livelihoods in oil-rich countries.

    “In the end, one of the greatest legacies that the Buhari government left in Nigeria’s mind was its greatest contribution to the economy, the success story of overnight supply card sellers turning into billionaires, and a service central bank The governor, who runs from his comfort and comfort to the presidential office, uses public funds.

    “Your government introduced ‘Ranka Ya Dede Nepotism’ yesterday, today is ‘Emilokan’, tomorrow may be ‘Igbo Kwenu’, and the next day tomorrow’s slogan.”
