British Prime Minister Starmer fired the Minister of Health due to WhatsApp news.
Nigeria News Nalin British Prime Minister Keir Starmer reportedly fired Health Minister Andrew Gwynne on Saturday, saying the minister called it a serious judgment.
According to a government spokesman, Steller was determined to uphold the high standards of public officials, adding that he would not hesitate to take action against any minister who failed to meet these standards
Gwynne said in an article on X that he was sorry for any crimes caused by the “severe judgment” comment.
He further said that he knew the Prime Minister and Labour’s decision and that while being suspended was very sad, he would support them in any way possible.
A Labour spokesman said Gwynne, 50, was administratively suspended as a party member because it investigated comments from WhatsApp team that is consistent with Labor’s rules and procedures.
The spokesman added: “If an individual is found to violate the high standards of being a member of the Labor Party, quick action will be taken.”
Gwynne said in a message seen in an email on Sunday that he hopes a 72-year-old woman will die soon after writing to a local councillor about the bin collection.
Gwen also reportedly posted gender-discriminatory comments about Angela Rayner and racist remarks about Labor MP Diane Abbott.
