    ndlea foil drug smuggling attempts, restored 125 kinds of heroines

    • NDLEA foiled two drug kings’ attempts to smuggle heroin into Nigeria.

    • The suspects, Onyekwonike Elochuckwu Sylvanus and James Herbert Chinoso, excreted a total of 125 heroin after being arrested at Harcourt and Lagos airports.

    • NDLEA’s Chairman/CEO Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa praised the officers suspected of arresting and seizure.

    The National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) thwarted two drug kings’ attempts to smuggle heroin into Nigeria.

    According to a statement by Femi Babafemi, director of media and advocacy at NDLEA headquarters, Abuja is one of Kingpins, Anyekwonike Elochuckwu Sylvanus, an NDLEA official at Harcourt Airport, intercepted Elochuckwu Sylvanus.

    Sylvanus, who used a dual identity to aid his cross-border campaign, was found ingesting illegal drugs. He was then taken away with a body scan that confirmed the presence of heroin in his system.

    He was then placed under observation of excrement, during which time he drove out a total of 62 heroin species in five excrements, weighing 1.348 kg.

    The second kingpin, James Herbert Twill, was arrested by NDLEA agents at Lagos airport.

    After a body scan confirmed the illegal drugs in his system, he was placed under observation of excrement, during which time he expelled 63 heroin at a total weight of 909 grams.

    NDLEA’s Chairman/CEO Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa praised the officials suspected of arrest and seizures and said: “Their operational achievements and the achievements of fellow countrymen across the country, especially their balanced approach to reducing drug supply and reducing drug demand. , received very good praise.”

    NDLEA agents arrested suspected drug traffickers and his associates in Lagos State.

    The suspect was reportedly identified as Emeka Emmanuel Mbadiwe, who was arrested after his criminal partner was arrested.
