A Nigerian man claimed to know a Unizik lecturer who was attacked by a student, weighed the controversy and noted that the devil used the young lady.
In an article on X (formerly Twitter), he condemned the student’s behavior, describing her actions as bold and regrettable. His reaction was after the viral video, showing the female student filming the lecturer, tearing her clothes and biting him after he tried to grab the phone.
The dispute began when the lecturer allegedly eavesdropped on students while passing the sidewalk, prompting her reaction. She later claimed she did not know he was a lecturer and accused him of touching her inappropriately. The instructor also provides his own version of the event.
While resolving the situation, the man advised the student to prepare for JAMB because he thought she might not be able to continue studying at Unizik.
His post reads:
“I’m sorry for the girl who slapped and tore the lecturer’s shirt at Unizik today. First of all, I know that the lecturer is a very calm and respectful person at the Arts Academy, but the devil decided to use that young lady today.”
“She should go to JAMB because the Unizik I attended wouldn’t let her get rid of it. If she knew it would be good for her, she should consider moving to a private university in Benin, Ghana, or Nigeria.”
“Even if the school forgives her, her department lecturer will make her intolerable.”
He further stressed that even if the university tolerate her leniency, other lecturers may bring her academic difficulties.
