A young father was captured by video and threw his newborn baby on the street and wrapped in plastic bags.
Surveillance footage shows the man (18-year-old Lucio) reaching into his backpack and removing the plastic bag from the inside of the baby boy.
He was then seen investigating the area and then placing the bag on the ground near the parked car.

The horrible incident occurred in the Mexican city of Tertutilan on Tuesday, February 11.
Videos obtained by Mexican news network Tele Diario show caregivers treating babies when they are taken to the hospital.
The baby is recovering and is under custody of the national Mexican family development system.

Afterwards, the authorities began to look for their father.
The baby’s mother’s name has been detained, and he told Telediario that she was five months pregnant and was working.

She said she initially felt a sharp spasm near her abdomen and went to the bathroom to notice she was bleeding.
The young mother said, “After bleeding, the baby came out…I was panicked and didn’t know what to do.”
She recalled her “ears ringing”, and as she began to weaken, “everything was blurred.”
“I handed him over to his father so he could help me see what we could do, and he told me he was going to take him.”

She said she initially thought her boyfriend was going to take him to the hospital, but only found him throwing him on social media.
The woman told the media that she was not under criminal investigation but was not told whether and when she would be granted custody of her son.
However, Lucio’s mother, Dulha, denied that her son was acting alone. She insisted that it was planned with her girlfriend and the screenshot of the chat, who planned to get rid of the baby, which has now appeared.
The father who abandoned the baby was arrested Thursday, February 13.
Photos show him being taken away by a police car.

The Mexican Attorney General’s Office is leading the investigation.
Meanwhile, the baby’s mother expressed concern about her family and her own safety after social media users began posting photos of her and her boyfriend, claiming she had never seen or heard of it since Tuesday.
“All these [social media] “What the Internet produces is pure misinformation. There are indeed a lot of threats to my family. That’s what I don’t want. I don’t want my family to be held in a bad opinion,” she said.
