Tambuwal criticized defection consistent with all the progressive conferences (APCs) after the first Maiden Zonal Executive Council meeting in Kaduna on Saturday, February 15 .
People leave the party for different reasons. But what I have observed is that defection is not based on the interests of the people, but on personal gain, which I call “gastric infrastructure.” ”
He also targeted the APC-led federal government, accusing the government of poor governance and failure to cope with the economic challenges facing Nigerians.
“If you are a politician with a conscience, you will not be joining the APC given the current economic difficulties and the poor performance of the Tinubu government,” he said.
Tambuwal urged the opposition to unite and develop strategies ahead of the 2027 elections to provide viable alternatives to Nigerians.
“There is nothing appealing to APC except for personal interests. Those of us who believe in this country and serve the people must unite to ensure that by 2027, we will evacuate the failed government of Nigerians,” he added.
