Betty Irabor drew some advice from her experience and shared some advice for couples.
Genevieve magazine publisher shared cute photos of her and her husband Soni Irabor on a Valentine’s Day outing yesterday, February 14, 2025.
In the title, she noted that they have had 42 Valentine’s Day dates so far.
Using her experience on this year’s Valentine’s Day outing and years of experience gathered, she advises couples to “get up and dance” while their love songs are played and avoid wasting moments because they are short-lived.
Love requires “100% commitment” and urges couples to “do to one person as you want the other to do”.
Her post reads: “When your love song plays…get up and dance.
“When the beautiful band @thedelborough played Chris de Burghs; the lady in red last night, Sony told our friends that this is the song I used to chase Betty in my time to do so (Woo) .
“Then he looked at me and asked ‘Why don’t you wear red?’ I smiled shyly.
“We both wanted to dance, but when we recall the early Valentine’s Day escape, the moment passed. I’m glad we built those beautiful memories, but glad we’re still here after 42 Valentine’s Days together. Build memories.
“It’s a wonderful feeling to build memories together because you can always draw inspiration from those memories during tough times.
“Sometimes, even if you say nothing, you are whispering your heart.
“Love is not always in words we express, but in the actions that define it.
“Love needs 100% of your commitment.
“’Give everyone’ makes it work is a challenge, but when you can do it in your heart and mind.
“It is possible if it is not based on short-term emotions and inflated expectations.
Everything is perfect without stress, without stress.
“Make sure to store your love in your inner memory so that like Gardenia Flower, it can release its fragrance in all seasons.. High or Low.
“When your love song appears on the turntable, get up and dance.
“Don’t waste those moments, because life is short.
“I hope you do more on this long distance journey called marriage.
“Invite Christ into your home.”
