President Tinubu has received strict conditions to get 2027 votes in Bauchi State.
Nigeria News Nalin It was reported that former House Speaker Yakubu Dogara called on President Bola Tinubu to prioritize two important projects in Bauchi State – restoring oil exploration and starting construction of the Bagel dam at Dass LGA.
He believes that these projects are the strategic leverage of Tinubu’s re-election at Bauchi in 2027.
Dogara said during a commissioning of road projects in the Toro local government area over the weekend that the projects will stimulate economic growth, create jobs and enhance infrastructure, positioning Bauchi as a major economic hub.
Dogara describes the moves as political game-changers and asserts that their executions will secure support for the large number of voters in Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
“If President Tinubu premiered and started the Bagel Dam project and revisited oil exploration in Bauchi, would he even need to run here for 2027? If you agree, say “Yes,” he asked the crowd who answered “Yes”.
Dogara highlighted the benefits of the bagel multifunctional dam and noted that it will provide electricity to all local governments in the south, thereby promoting industrialization and promoting local economies.
He also explained the potential economic impact of oil production and noted that joining the coalition of oil-producing states in Nigeria would significantly increase federal revenue distribution to Bauchi.
Speaking about rumors supported by all the progressive congresses, in Bauchi, Dogara dismissed the claim and asserted that the party remains strong despite opposition at the state level.
“APC is very active in Bauchi. Those who think otherwise are just cheating on themselves. Time is up and we will take back the country,” he declared.
