National Democratic Party (PDP) claimant, Sunday Ude-Okoyedebunked the report of allegations of forging the party’s documents being arrested and detained by the Nigerian police force.
Naija News The report said that some online reports said that Ude-Okoye and the vice president of the PDP country (Southeast), Or OdefaAfter the IMO state governor primary election, he was arrested for allegedly changing the party’s main election guidelines.

However, in an interview with Vanguard, Ude-Okoye dismissed the allegation, saying that he was at Enugu’s residence and had not been arrested or participated in document forgery.
He admitted to being invited to the Abuja police station last Wednesday, but clarified that he was released 20 minutes later without any charges against him.
Ude-Okoye stressed that as a law-abiding citizen, he is willing to fully cooperate with the police investigation.
He said “I was not detained; I was at Eungu’s home and was not arrested in any form. I was not involved in any forgery of documents, nor did I participate in any forgery of documents. I did not tell anyone to forge any documents, and no one for me Forge any documents.”
