A family of six reportedly hit Zakka Ward in the Yauni community by a military air strike, located in the Safana local government area of Katsina State.
Three other security personnel, including two police officers and a state-owned community observation mission (CWC) surgical staff, were earlier in a gun showdown with bandits, according to the Daily Trust.
A resident who revealed anonymity told the publication that the incident was due to the result of a local government election held on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
The bandits reportedly plan to attack voters in the village of Zhaka.
