    Meet OLAITAN SALEDEES, Music Initiator and Plugin

    Sheriff Olaitan Salaudeen, commonly known as Olaitan, has a career The most influential music fighter in Nigeria. His journey into the world of music promotion stems from entertainment, years of dedication and in-depth understanding of the Nigerian music industry.

    Olaitan was born in Lagos on April 6, 1981 and was attracted by music since childhood. As a teenager, he had access to the Arabic language course (Ile-kewu) expanded his views on culture and communication, but he had officially entered the music industry very late.

    He attended St. Joseph High School in Idi-Mangoro, Agege, and then received a Mass Communication degree from Lagos State Institute of Technology in 2008. During his time at school, he developed stronger ties with the media industry and would later define his career path.

    Career development and influence in the music industry

    After completing the National Youth Service Team (NYSC) in NTA Minna, Niger State, Olaitan Salaudeen gained valuable experience in broadcasting and media relations. He then worked for two years at TV Continental (TVC), where he perfected his skills in media promotions and began to understand the complexity of the Nigerian music business.

    His experience at TVC has brought him to a growing demand for structured music promotions. Recognizing the gap in the industry, Oratan shifted his focus to music sockets to help artists browse the media landscape and gain visibility.

    In 2010, he fully embraced music promotion, working with artists to ensure media presentation, broadcast playback and industry networking opportunities. His expertise and strategic approach quickly made him a recognition as a key player in the Nigerian music industry.

    His career reached new heights when he became the official music plugin for YBNL Nation, a record label founded by Olamide. Through this role, he played a tremendous role in promoting artists like Olamide, Adkur King, Lil Kesh, Victor, Timi Ovvassa (YBNL Princess), Fireboy DML and Asake An important role. His influence greatly promoted their mainstream success, extensive broadcasting and international influence.

    In addition to its partnership with YBNL, Olaitan has partnered with numerous artists and industry stakeholders to help them expand their audience through broadcasting, DJs and digital platforms. His efforts helped bridge the gap between artists and listeners, thus shaping the role of Nigerian musical luggworm.

    Faith, family and heritage

    Despite his busy career, Olaitan Salaudeen is still deeply committed to his faith and to his family. He is a practice Muslim and Alhaji, who regularly performs religious obligations toward J and Umrah. He was also a devout husband and father, with three children, Iremide Mumin Salaudeen, Irereyo Mueen Salaudeen and Ireanu Muizah Salaudeen.

    Through dedication to music, faith and family, Olaitan has built a legacy that goes beyond the entertainment industry. His journey demonstrates perseverance, the power of strategic thinking, and the ability to balance professional success with personal values.
