According to Punch, the Ogun State Police command has begun searching for an unidentified woman who is linked to the suspicious death of inspector Haruna Mohammed, the latter of Lagos State An official in the Ishashi Division of the Police Command.
Mohammed found life in a hotel room in Oyeyemi Akute Anthony Uzum Estate, Ogun State. Authorities regard the situation surrounding his death as an unusual situation.
Omolola Odutola, spokesman for the Ogun State Police Department, revealed that a woman inspected the hotel with Mohammed but left the hotel shortly after his death.
The report shows that the official and the unidentified woman entered the hotel together at around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday. A few hours later, his body was found in the room.
At about 8:52 am, the hotel manager noticed that the door to the room was Ajar. After examination, he discovered Muhammad’s body.
