Nigeria News Nalin The Ogun State Police Department has filed the controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus (also known as Portable) in court, the report said.
Portable was arraigned on Thursday morning at the Isabo High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
This is a few hours after the singer surrendered to the police.
Recall that the police announced a wanted warrant on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, allegedly allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Program and Development License Bureau OGPDPA.
The portable man surrendered to the Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday and handed over to Ogun police.
The portable man who once escaped appeared in court Thursday and faced charges.
Recall that the singer reportedly launched an attack on OGPDPA officials in an attempt to seal his bar in the absence of approved permits and insufficient space.
The incident led to five counts of armed violence, felony, blocking, assault and killing intent, resulting in the arrest and arraignment of nine colleagues on portable.
