Nigeria News Nalin President Bola Tinubu on Thursday approved the appointment of the National Assembly’s Service Committee and 12 members.
Special Adviser for the President’s Information and Strategy, Its Inthuanugadisclosed this in a statement.
According to the statement, the president approved the appointment of the savior Dr. Ennikel as chairman of the National Assembly Service Committee for a five-year renewable term.
Prior to appointment, environmental expert Enyiekere was deputy chief of staff Senate President.
President Tinob also approved the appointment of each committee member in the six geopolitical zones.
The 12 members are: Suleiman Othman Hunkii and Hon. Yusuf A. Yusuf A. Yusuf A. Yusuf Tabuka, Northwest, Aminu Ibrahim Malle and Alhaji Lawan Maina Mahmud, Northeast, Mark Hanso Terso and Salihu Umar Agboola Balollu for North Center, Hon. Taiwan Olukemi Oluga and Hon. Affeez ipeza-Balogun is southwest.
Others are honor. Nnanna Uzor Kalu and Festus Ifesinachi Odii are the Southeast, as well as Mrs. Patrick Giwa and Mary Ekpenyong (South-South).
The statement further added that each member of the committee should serve as an office within five years.
“Like the Chairman, committee members should serve five years of renewable term,” it said.
