Edo Governor, Okpebholo said on Monday that Edo Senator Adams Oshiomhole was not a dictator, as some might describe it.
He insisted that lawmakers allowed him to handle state affairs without any interference.
The governor revealed this on channel television while dismissing claims that he was remotely controlled by some godfathers.
According to him, Almighty God only used certain people to support his governor’s ambitions and put him in office.
“Can you even point out a Godfather who pushed me?
“God is using people to help me, support me, to get to where I am today.” The governor said.
He said, “Even if they are talking about dictators, people who don’t decide anything. I see another oshiomhole. Oshiomhole gave me a free hand.
“Whenever I want to talk to him, he will say, ‘My son, I know how you feel, just do it the way you do it’. But I will say, ‘Sir, I won’t do it the way I do it, Please let me know. “He advised me that most of the suggestions were positive. You can’t be an island; you have to take everyone.”
