    The 17-year-old is from Bikaner district in Rajasthan, India.

    Naya Shahar Sho Vikram Tiwari told news agency PTI that the gold medalist’s neck broke when the 270 kg pole fell on her.

    She exercised under the supervision of a trainer, who also suffered minor injuries.

    “Yashtika, under the supervision of her coach, lifts weights in the gymnasium, Power Therquarters. During her attempt, she suddenly lost her balance and the bar fell on her neck. Other gym members were quick to rush to lose weight CPR, but she showed no sign of recovery ,” Sho Tiwari told the media.

    The video captures Yashtika trying to lift weights. It was reportedly her second attempt, and her first success. But this time, she lost control and went backwards, and she pushed the coach. The entire weight was transferred to her neck and she fell down after a moment.

    Videos of creepy events are popular on social media.

    People expressed sadness at the expressions of young athletes.

    Yashtika won the gold medal in the National Bench Press Championship in Goa, the champion is a gold medal in the Junior Class 84kg and above.
