The Kano State Chapter of All Progressive Conferences (APC) rejected members of the Minister of Housing and Urban Development Yusuf Abdullahi ATA.
In a statement issued on Monday, the APC chairman of Kano State, Abdulleh Abbassaid they did not know that ATA was appointed minister and that he was not a member of the party until he reported the appointment.

He said: “For the American APC members, Yusuf ATA is not a member of the APC. We don’t even know why he was appointed as minister. In the entire state of Kano, we are ranked No. 2 in the 2023 elections only in his local government. three.
“We didn’t know that he was appointed minister. We told the president that he was not a member of our party. He did anti-party. He was just a local champion.”
