Therefore, NPC, NBS, NIMC, the Ministry of Digital Economy, Passports, Social Register, Voter Register, and even Telecom Data have met with the National Space R&D Agency (NASRDA) to see the government’s availability of data and how much optimization can be made. ”
NPC Chairman Kwarra said in a speech that the last census occurred in 2006 and 19 years later, these figures are no longer related to the plan, especially for key sectors that directly affect the population.
He said 760,000 pieces have been acquired and stored in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and ensured that the committee will interact with development partners to seek support when President Tinob announced a new census.
